Welcome!

Here you can see what services we offer as well as what the pets can do here during pet sitting!

Dogs are walked and groomed. Cats can take relaxing naps in the sun shining through the windows, and horses can get exercised in their round pens.

(Unfortunately, we do not board dogs, cats, or any farm animals)

Fitness

Dogs and horses need to be exercised a minimum of an hour a day! Dogs and horses need that bond between them and their pack/herd leader, which is you! I will be happy to walk your dogs and lunge your horses to get them the exercise they need to be fit and be happy.

Walks are included with pet sitting, but I would be happy to regularly walk your dog as well.

We also have a beginner agility set and a pool (dogs only). Pool is only available in the summer.

Grooming

Animals may have their own way of grooming themselves but sometimes they need our help.

Taylor’s Pets offers bathing and grooming (trimming, brushing, nail trimming, hoof cleaning, and ear cleaning) for both dogs, cats (no baths), and horses (grooming services depend on species).

Bathing and grooming (excluding brushing) is not included with pet sitting.

Dog Training

One of the essential parts of owning a dog is training. Dogs are a pack animal and look to the pack leader to tell them the rules. Since these are not wild dogs, they look for the owner to give them boundaries and limitations.

Dogs want to please and by training them and praising them when they do a good job, they not only feel like a good dog, it helps relieve anxiety that they may have not knowing the rules of the pack (you and your dog(s)).

I offer basic training, steps on how to use a crate/kennel to potty train, leash training, and simple trick training such as:

Sit, stay, lay down, heel, high five, leave it (alone), etc.

Training is not included in pet sitting.
